Scouts – Description

Our Scouts section is for young people aged between 10 ½ – 14 Years old.

In Scouts, we strive in creating opportunities for our promising youth, teaching them life skills which they can use in their future adventures. We provide a range of fun, educational activities which help them create a new skill set as well as create many great memories with great friends. We help them participate and chase their dreams as they begin to think about their future careers and livelihoods. We create chances of pride and achievement as we provide badges to all who can achieve them.

We provide such activities as:

  • Campfire Cooking
  • Music Studies
  • Fire Safety
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Teambuilding
  • Wood Skills
  • Multiple Badge work activities

Away from the scout hut, we also create many memories and learn many skills. Exclusively available for Scouts and Explorers Sections, we at 1st Coseley Scouts are proud to say we had held an annual week’s summer camp up and down lovely locations in the UK for 25 years in a row, and with many other undiscovered locations and dream spots, you want to make sure you get yourself a spot at the next camp, as there are memories to make and cherish for the rest of your life.

Our Scout Group meet weekly on Wednesdays, starting at 7pm, finishing at 9pm.
